Katie McDonnell is a Northeastern undergraduate student pursuing a combined major in
Design and Business Administration, with tentative concentrations in Experience Design
and Brand Management.
With a diverse background in fine art, music, athletics, and biology, her research aims to
explore material innovation in everyday experiences, especially in spaces of disability and
enviornmental sustainability.
Furthermore, she manages the lab’s branding and social media presence, hoping to bring
more eyes to the BioInteractive Design Lab’s exciting research
